Consent Logistics & Support Volunteers

Role contact

About this role

This includes the management of any shared space, ensuring all structures and equipment arrive on site; liaising with the event so that a suitable space is allocated to the team based on the number of people camping with the consent team; logistics are also responsible for camp LNT (enforcing camp members to apply LNT principles rather than cleaning up after others).

The logistics team will gather data from the consent camp members including how much space they require and their expected arrival time and date, the team will create a rough camp placement map to ensure a healthy level of inclusion, accessibility and privacy.

Logistics may also help the arrival and departure of consent camp members by carrying items to and from vehicles, setting up tents/structures, organising group meals and socials.

Responsibilities

The Consent Logistics & Support Team require a few volunteers to help with build and strike of the consent camp.

Ideally build volunteers will be able to arrive Sunday 25th May 2025 or early Monday 26th May 2025; and strike volunteers leaving no earlier than Monday 2nd June 2025.

Additional information

The Consent Logistics & Support leads are Olly and Howard.

All Consent Team volunteers are welcome to join Consent Camp at Burning Nest 2025. Not a theme camp but a shared space with a communal sheltered social area, hot water shower, hammocks and kitchen. This is not an open space but one for Consent Team members to relax and socialise with each other and invited guests.
