Welfare Link

Are you a lovely human with good listening skills, and experienced in supporting and guiding others in a crisis? Join the Welfare team, responsible for creating and maintaining the Welfare Enough space at Burning Nest. We’re looking for a Welfare Link and two Welfare Co-Leads, who can commit to working together before, during, and after the event. Before the event, tasks include planning the space, sourcing supplies, training and coordinating volunteers, attending Burning Nest meetings and liaising with other areas. During the event, the Welfare Co-Leads will also set up and maintain the space, and take shifts to be the on-call contact person for emergencies, handovers and support to welfare supervisors. We would particularly welcome applications from those from the global majority, although all applications are very gratefully received.
